How to Manage it All

Here’s a fun site that a friend told me I just HAD to try, so I did.  It’s a place where you can keep track of all your family’s activities on a calander, keep track of all your lists and be able to access them from a mobile phone, enter family pictures and get a collage on your screen, and much more.

I’ve only been on for a few days.  I won’t be able to use the feature about having your grocery lists texted to your phone while you are out because I can’t get texting on my phone.  What a cool concept, though.  You’re out shopping and remember your list is at home.  All you do is call a number and have the list texted or read to you right over your phone.  Technology….

Keyboarding Lessons

Recently I was able to review a program that includes keyboarding lessons. The program is called Keyboarding for the Christian School.

This can easily be used for homeschooling too. In this age of computers students need to know how to type. These ebooks reminded me of how I learned to type back in school. The nice thing is that all the practice sections use scripture. I’m sure I never had that in school! Read more »

Geography for Kids

Here’s a great site you and your children will enjoy.  There are some fun quizzes you can take that tell you how much (or little) you know about geography. This site covers earth structure, atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, BGC cycles, and climates.

Send your children an email with this site and tell them to take a certain quiz. :) )  There is lots of information here to that you can all read about.
