Boost Your Homeschool with These Websites

Here are some great websites to use to help boost your homeschool. Any resources that you can add to your homeschool resources is great.

Aesop Fables – Over 650 Aesop fables are listed here including 127 from Hans Christian Anderson. Some fables can even be heard on Real Audio. The site includes lesson plans and the moral of each story. www.aesopfables.com

Grammar Sheets – Original grammar worksheets can be found here. They can be used for teaching, reinforcement or review. You can choose from a whole list of options and print from there. – www.rhlschool.com/english.htm

Math Playground – Here you will find math word problems, math games and logic games for grades Kindergarten through 7th. You can choose a math worksheet by grade and content, work with flashcards online, and participate in a math quiz. They were voted #1 by homeschool.com in 2005. http://www.mathplayground.com/index.html

Metropolitan Museum of Art – Over 3,500 objects can be viewed online on this site. You can search the site for a particular object or just browse around at the different collections. There is a time line of art history along with a daily artwork archive. The museum kids area has many activities you can explore including videos and slide shows of artists and their works.
