Free Homeschool Math Part 2

Here are some more free homeschool math sites where you can print worksheets or just use for games. Whether you need a completely free curriculum or whether you just want to supplement what you are using, I think you can find it ALL on the Internet!

Skillswise is a British site that has free times tables resources here. They are divided into factsheet, quiz, game and worksheet. There are more resources for all areas of math here too, but I thought that most people would be interested in multiplication help. You can click on “numbers” or “whole numbers” at the top of the page to get to other math resources.

There is a fact sheet for each number 1-9 and quizzes for your children to take if they think they know the material. This site is definitely worth checking out.

Kids Numbers gives you free math games and activities teaching and reinforcing the main aspects of math – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This is a fun site that is well researched on how kids learn and what they like to do to learn.

I’ve saved the best for last…..

SuperKids Math is a great online resource for math worksheets. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Many sites don’t give you the answer keys or make you pay a fee just to get to the worksheets. You really need to try this site especially if you have been scouring the Internet and not finding a truly free homeschool math worksheet site.

Children under 8 really just need to be working on their math facts every day whether it is by using manipulatives, flash cards, orally or writing them down. You can use some of these sites to help you achieve your goals.

Older students can use math texts, but if you can’t afford them, then you will need to trade your time for money and print off some systematic units for your child. Remember to keep the basics of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as your main goal.

Mastery of the basic facts should be the goal of any free homeschool math program.

If you would like more Internet Resources for Homeschooling in all subjects and all grade levels, you can get this ebook and have over 350 sites that homeschoolers can use at your fingertips!

Let me know if you find any better math sites than what I have listed here and I’ll include them.
