Homeschool in the Woods – Map Resources
Even though most people have heard of Homeschool in the Woods, I guess I have been in the dark about this company and their resources. I received a review copy of their map resources and was so pleasantly surprised.
I love maps!! I mean, I REALLY love maps. We have lots of map resources here. Now I think that I could probably get rid of all my map resources and just use the great World Maps and US Maps provided by Homeschool in the Woods. They have included so many features in their maps that you would have a hard time finding 10 books that would combine all this information.
These CDs are great for homeschoolers who like notebooking. They have covers grouped by time periods, state facts pages with answers, recipe cards, timelines, and much more.
You get both ancient and modern maps that are either labeled or unlabeled. There are many Bible maps too including the 12 tribes of Isrea, Paul’s journeys, and more. You will see the flags of all countries along with all the state flags.
You can use this resource for just about anything you are studying, whether it be continents, oceans, a certain period of History or part of the world and they can be used for any age group. We enjoyed printing off a map that labeled all the slave states and free states during the time before the Civil War.
I saw that they had the dynasties of China mapped out and thought that those would have come in handy when we were reading the Story of the World (can’t remember which volume).
You can order the Homeschool in the Woods maps by download or on a CD. The download sets of the United States Maps or the World Maps can be purchased individually for $18.95 or $28.95 as a combo set. You can purchase both map sets on CD for $19.95 individually or as a combo set for $29.95.
Visit Homeschool in the Woods to order these products or to see more information about their map resources.
