Homeschool Library Builder

Homeschool Library Builder is a free site that you can join (for free) to help you find books for a literature based homeschool program like Five in a Row, Sonlight, Beautiful Feet, Veritas, Tapestry of Grace, Ambleside Online and others. Even if you don’t use these curriculums, you will find lots of useful books on this site.

All the books I looked at were anywhere from 24-50% off. Plus they had some out of print books too. They have frequent buyer book points too so that you can earn a $1 towards your next purchase for every $15 you spend. If you tell your friends about their service, you also get book points.

They have a good search feature on their site so you don’t have to wade through lists of books if you don’t want to. There are 32 categories you can choose from to find your selections that way. You can sort by product and price too. That way if you are looking for a certain book or list of books, you can find them quickly, get them ordered, and be off the computer. (haha)

I noticed lots of books that we have read plus lots more that we could still read. It is nice to have a source for good literature. You know that if you are using a literature based curriculum, you should be able to find what you need here without having to leaf through lots of catalogs or spend a lot of time on the internet.

Another interesting feature is their marketplace area. Homeschool moms that have home businesses can advertise for free at Homeschool Library Builder on their monthly newsletter. You have to qualify, but it’s a great idea for a way to help others get the word out about what they have to offer others.

If you want to get a free membership to Homeschool Library Builder, you can check their website at http://www.hslibrarybuilder.com/

As a member of the Homeschool Crew, I was given this product to review. I was not paid for this post and do not have to return the product to the vendor.  The opinions expressed in this post are those of the blog owner (me).
