How Great Is Our God DVD
Have you seen this movie yet? It is AWESOME! I thought I would take today to give you a How Great is Our God DVD review.
We watched it at church last Sunday. I’ve heard a lot about this movie. One Sunday School teacher showed it this past summer in his class. Many people bought the DVD and showed it to many of their friends and family members. Others are using this as an evangelistic tool either watching it with their friends or family or loaning/giving the video out for people to watch on their own. Right after we watched the movie we had communion. I thought it was a creative alternative to a regular communion service.
The DVD is basically Louie Giglio at a concert or seminar of some sort giving a very motivational talk. There is another video that this group did called Indescribable that was in the same format a couple of years ago.
In this video Louie talks about 4 stars. I know it sounds boring, but if this doesn’t spark your interest in God or the stars, nothing else will. He shows some amazing pictures and has some great object lessons that relate exactly how big God is. He also highlights the human body and how God cares about the small and intricate things too. All of this is done in an entertaining fashion with good illustrations that hold your attention.
Without spoiling the video for you, I’l just say that you will look at yourself and God in a whole new way after watching this. I strongly encourage you to get the How Great is Our God DVD (this is the cheapest price I could find) somehow and have your family watch it. This is a great tool to help your child get a grip on how big and small our universe is andwill help them appreciate the God who created it all. Like I said, if this doesn’t spark an interest in Astronomy at your house, I don’t know what will. After we watched the movie my 7 year old son looked at me and said, “Mom, I’m going to make a planet.” I gave him a piece of paper to draw on because he was getting fidgety. He said, “No Mom, I want to tape a whole bunch of pieces of paper together and tape them up on my wall in my bedroom!”

Here is a snippet of the DVD that you can watch on You Tube.
Let me know if you have seen this movie or if you get it and view it…. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
