Terrestria

webheader TerrestriaThe Terrestria Chronicles are a wonderful series of books written by evangelist Ed Dunlop. They take you back to the days of castles, princes, knights and ladies without any magic or wizardry.

This is a Christian allegory adventure series that encourages salvation and living for God. I was able to review books 4 and 5 in the series. All the books teach morals and values and help children guard their hearts and want to serve God.

You will want to read the Terrestria Chronicles in order. They are interesting reading for children ages 10 and older. You can use them for read aloud or reading on their own. I don’t know if children younger than 10 would be able to follow the names and story details though.

If you use these books as read aloud, they even provide free coloring pages on the talesofcastles.com website. You can view some free ebooks there too with other stories that Mr. Dunlop has written.

I like these books because I can give them to my children to read and not have to worry about inappropriate messages or themes in these books. My 14 year old daughter read these books on her own and said that she liked them.

There are 7 books in the Terrestria Chronicles that can be purchased as a set for $39.99 or individually for $7.99. There is also a study guide that covers all 7 books that is $5.99.

If you’re looking for a good series of literature for your children age 10+ where you don’t have to worry about magic or wizardy, then Terrestria Chronicles just might be a good fit for you.

As a member of the Homeschool Crew, I was given this product to review. I was not paid for this post and do not have to return the product to the vendor.  The opinions expressed in this post are those of the blog owner (me).
