I just received my latest newsletter from CurrClick and came across a great article entitled “Top 10 Reasons to Teach Phonics.” I thought they made some great points so I wanted to share it with you.

CurrClick is a fun site where you can get curriculum that you need in a click. Have you ever found a hole in your homeschool planning and needed something RIGHT NOW? The great thing about CurrClick is that you can go there, choose what you need, and get it delivered right away to your computer. You print off only what you want/need and save space and paper.

They have some great resources written by homeschool Moms that you won’t find many other places if at all. There are lapbook and notebooking resources too.

Whether you need handwriting practice for your child, language, history or geography resources, CurrClick has what you need at the click of a mouse.

My absolute favorite resource from CurrClick is a nifty little book called Writing the Visual, Kinesthetic, Auditory Alphabet. I wish I had this booklet when I was teaching my girls how to write. I used it with my son and it was wonderful! They use 6 basic shapes to make all letters and give interesting yet informative names to each of these 6 shapes. It’s only $1.99 but well worth much more than that!
